She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hellmer and Agnes Hellmer (Hagemann); her brothers, Joseph, Francis and Leonard Hellmer; and her siblings-in-law, Jodi Hellmer and Bob Coady.
She is survived by: her husband William Benne (Bill); her sons, Dr. Paul (Christine) of Manhattan, KS, Duane of Lenexa, KS and Mark (Kathy) of Bucyrus, KS; her grandchildren, Brayson Benne (Katy), Cale Benne, Andrew Benne, Gage Benne (Rachel), Jacob Benne, Hagan Benne, Eileen Benne and Megan Benne; her great grandchildren, Liam and Jane Benne; her brothers, John Hellmer of Lodi, CA, Ernest Hellmer (Doris) of Omaha, NE and Jerome Hellmer (Susan) of Salina, KS; and her sisters-in-law, Bea Hellmer of Aurora, CO and Doris Coady of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
