It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Lee Cowin of Spring Hill, Kansas, born in Urich, Missouri, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wehmeyer and Eddie Elizabeth Wehmeyer; her husband Harley Walter Cowin; and her children-in-law, Martin Pontius and Jane Cowin.

She is survived by: her children, Steven (Satana Cowin) of Spring Hill, KS, Deborah Lee Cowin of Overland Park, KS and John Michael Cowin of Paola, KS; and her granddaughter Megan Lee Pontius of Oxford, OH. She is also survived by four step-grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren.
