It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlys Brigdon (Spring Hill, Kansas), born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Reed and Elizabeth Reed (Jordison); her husband Jack Brigdon; her children, David, Edward, Thomas Brigdon and Carmen Brigdon; and her siblings, Verna Kauffman, Richard Reed and Merle Brooks.
She is survived by: her daughter Jacqueline Smith (Ken) of Spring Hill, KS; her daughter-in-law Lynn Brigdon of Columbus, OH; and her sister Irene Sweatt of Columbia, SC.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing must be followed by attendees.
