It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurel Martley in Spring Hill, Kansas, born in Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Eugene and Hazel Cheever (Schols); her husbands, Elvin Hayes and Patrick Martley; her sons, Roger and Dean Hayes; and her siblings, Clarice, Betty, Jean, Elwood, Marietta and Dixie.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Mangels, Dolly Hayes, Marietta Hayes, Robert Hayes and Debbie Martley; and her siblings, Alice Schreiver and John Cheever. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
