He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex, II and Dorothy Bachnick; and his siblings, Alex Bachnick, III and Ruth Foster. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughters, Julie Eck and Jill Swords (Derek); and his grandsons, Bailey, Parker, Jacob, Dylan and Elliott.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Redeemer Lutheran Church or The Disciple Garden/St.
