It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Allan Simms (Spring Hill, Kansas), born in San Diego, California, who passed away on August 21, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Sue Simms; his siblings, Dondra Jean Simms, Betty June Hereth and Calvin James Simms; and his niece Darla Costa.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rubyann Crystal Simms, Loni Maria Simms and Lorraine Grace Overton; his son-in-law Joseph Overton; his sister-in-law Gayle Simms; his niece Rachel Chapman; his nephews, Richard Hereth and Gordon Eichorn; and his grandchildren, Katilyn Sanders, James Simms, Peyton Overton and Eli Overton.
In lieu of flowers, Gordon's family would like to offer a memorial donation to Wayside Waifs Kansas City in honor of his 2 beloved cats.
