He was predeceased by: his parents, Eliza Graves and Robert Graves of Cleveland, Kansas; and his siblings, Nelly Graves, George Graves, Waldo Graves, Martha (McGovney), Betty (Jones), Gertrude (Schult), Robert Graves and Melvin Graves.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude; his son Kevin Graves; his grandson Garrett Graves; and his brother Edward Graves of Derby, Kansas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
