It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DeEtta Irene Gregory of Spring Hill, Kansas, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though DeEtta may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Lee and Bessie Elizabeth Helton (Saltsider); and her siblings, Norma Jean White, Stella Marie Turner and Orvel Lee Helton.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Lois Dewispelaere (Rick), Gary Gregory (Penny) and Mike Gregory; and her sister Alberta R. Baggott. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Spring Hill Baptist Church (406 W Nichols St, Spring Hill, KS 66083).
