He was predeceased by: his parents, Corliss Hathaway and Mary Ida Hathaway (Boeger); and his sisters, Ann Barnett and Jeanette Hathaway. He is survived by: his wife Rita Scritchfield; his children, Eddie Hathaway, Michelle Norris (Don), Michael Hathaway and Charles Hathaway, Jr. (Christine); his grandchildren, Christy Voegele (Paul), Nicole Criqui (Brent), Charles R. Hathaway and Keaton Hathaway; and his great grandchild Brody Criqui.
