With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Henry Shearer of Spearville, Kansas, born in Decatur, Arkansas, who passed away on November 30, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Shearer and Barton; and his sister Dorothy Morrison. He is survived by: his spouse Glorinda Fagen; his sons, David Shearer of Dodge City, Duane Shearer of Dodge City and Donald Shearer (Sylvia) of Dodge City; his siblings, Ruth Weaver and Buck Shearer (Jinx); his grandchildren, Casey and Kelly Shearer; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Holly and Cooper; his stepchildren, Angie Gonzales (Jonny) and Adrian Ortiz (Elena); and his stepgrandchildren, Scarlett, Ian and Devin.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
