We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2022, at the age of 69, Leesa Denise Shafer of Spearville, Kansas, born in Dodge City, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Henry; and her son Shane. She is survived by: her mother Wanda Henry; her husband Earl Michael Shafer; her son Garrett Michael Shafer (Kellan); her siblings, L. D. Henry (Marlinda), Linda Kling (Lenny) and Lana Wilkes; her daughter Shannon Howard (Troy); her daughter-in-law Jenny Shafer; and her grandchildren, Mikayla, Victoria, Anna, Braydon, Vincent, Layton, Kairi and Loralei.
The family suggests memorials to the Spearville Township Library, to be used to purchase children's book in her name, in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
