He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nietling and Dorothy Nietling (Schaffer); his wife Margie Eining; and his brothers, James, Eldon and Lloyd Nietling.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie, Larry Schmidt of Spearville, Kurt, Nancy Nietling (Huslig) of Wichita, Dennis, Judy Nietling (Dickson) of Spearville, Karla, Rick Hines of Hays, Denice and Dan Stecklein of Dodge City. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and 22 grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Prairie or Southwind of Spearville in care of Swaim Funeral Chapel.
