She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Shean and Viola Shean; her sisters, Joan and Jane; her niece Jessica Hertel; her nephew Mitchell Hertel; her parents-in-law, William and Helen Burkhart; and her siblings-in-law, Henrietta Owen, Thelma Weakley, Romona Staus, Greg Speakman, Gaylord Kisner, Chuck Owen and Elvin Weakley.
She is survived by: her husband Ervin George Burkhart; her daughter Jennifer Clark (Bob); her grandchildren, Matthew Clark (Amanda) of Ankeny, IA, Alexandra Clark (Cody) of Omaha, NE, Camryn Clark, Hays and Lucas Clark; her great grandchildren, Wesley, Beckham and Riley; her siblings, Debbie Hertel (George), Wright, Barb Richardson (Eric) of Lake City, IA and Robert Shean (Debbie) of Noblesville, IN; and her siblings-in-law, Elmer Burkhart (Donna) of Rock Springs, WY and Willadean Kisner. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and many, many friends.
The family suggests memorials to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Spearville Senior Center, or Spearville Library in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
