She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Nienstedt and Velma Nienstedt (Eason); her husband Harry B. Burton; and her pet Buster. She is survived by: her sons, Gerald (Tammi) of Hutchinson, Glen (Connie) of Sterling and Galen (Jennifer) of Hutchinson; her brother Vernon Nienstedt (Kay) of Greenwell Springs, LA; and her stepsister Eileen Jenek (John) of Emporia. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
