He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur William Plotner and Margretha Helena Plotner (Degenhardt); and his siblings, Donald Plotner, Gerald Plotner and Evelyn Woodall.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl A. Plotner of Charleston; his children, Robert D. Plotner, Jason S. Plotner (Carolyn Wehe) of Cape Coral, FL and MeLisa Ann Gonzalez (Efrain) of Olathe, KS; and his granddaughters, Sara Breann Gonzalez and Abby R. Gonzalez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice House, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
