Jerry Ancil Gates Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Ancil Gates of South Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancil Gates and Fern Eloise Gates (Broadbent); and his brother-in-law Chester Lowe. He is survived by: his children, Brian Gates (Steffany), Lana Richmond (Charles) of Hutchinson and Kari Fairbanks (Adam) of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, Daniel, David, Brooklyn, Ethan, Evan, Hayely, Boston, Brandy, Nathan, Brian Jr., Kiara, Ezekial and Kalib; his siblings, Van Gates (Sue) of Wichita and Jeanne Lowe of North Carolina; and his nieces, Valery, Julie and Cheryl. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
