It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Horyna of South Hutchinson, Kansas, born in Caldwell, Kansas, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Horyna and Lucille E. Horyna (Williams); his spouse Gayle Lynn Swafford; his children, Robert Jr., Tracy Horyna and Teresa Graham; his brother Mark; and his son-in-law Scott Graham.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Burkhart (Brent) of Hutchinson; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Garcia (Ruben) of Port Charlotte, FL and Ryan Cousins (Priscilla) of Gardner; his grandsons, Jeremy Graham (Melissa), Dustin Graham (Hailey) and Peyton Burkhart; his stepgrandchildren, Bella, Braxton Garcia and Ara Cousins; his granddaughters, Aelia and Anie Saner; his siblings, Ben Horyna (Cheryl) of Hutchinson and Jane Schaffer (Robert) of Louisburg; and his sister-in-law Rhea Horyna of Moscow. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Countryside Baptist Church or Bluff City United Methodist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
