He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Byers and Helen Byers (Milligan); his former wife Janie Byers; and his son Edward LeRoy Byers. He is survived by: his children, Larry Byers of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Jill Richards (Tom) of South Haven; his grandchildren, CharLynn Kalblinger (Ryan Cunningham), Chandrea Alexander (Joey), Travis Byers, Shelby Byers and Kaylee Byers; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Kailyn, Austin, Alexa, Daila, Corbin and Cannon LeRoy; his brothers, Richard Byers of South Haven, Kansas and Dale Byers (Roberta) of South Haven, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Michele Byers; and his daughter Sharon Smith (Kimbel).
