It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Steven Schmidt of Solomon, Kansas, born in La Crosse, Kansas, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Patrick and Marie Bessie Schmidt (Jira); and his siblings, Michael Schmidt, Galen Schmidt, Judy Addams and Debra Hollis.
He is survived by: his wife Eilene Schmidt; and his siblings, Gary Schmidt (Phyllis), Joe Schmidt (Bernadette), John Schmidt (Suzanne), Richard Schmidt and Mary Beth Wagner. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces; and many close and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers or plants, Eilene requests memorials to the American Kidney Fund or American Liver Foundation.
