We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2023, at the age of 94, Doris G. Swenson of Smolan, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Krogstad and Anna Krogstad; her husband Edgar Swenson; and her brothers, Earl, Arthur and Clifford Krogstad.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Swenson (Micki) of Smolan and Nita Kay Carlson (Wayne) of Lindsborg; her grandchildren, Jason Carlson (Michelle), Suzanna Swenson, Eric Swenson (Yesica), Brandon Carlson and Hannah Peterson (Elias); her great grandchildren, Emmett, Vivia, Bekah, Ava and Abby; her sister-in-law Jean Krogstad of Fertile, MN; her niece Mary (Justin); and her children, Drew, Beth and Amy.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Salina, Lindsborg Evangelical Covenant Church, or Salemsborg Lutheran Church.
