It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Jane Gibson of Smith Center, Kansas, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Casteel and Ermil Casteel (Hahn); her husband Emery; her son Gary; and her siblings, Neva, Lucille, Tressie, Gladys and Ray.

She is survived by: her children, Janna Daniels (Allen) of Athol, KS and Jim Gibson (Janie) of Napa, ID. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 1 step grandson; 3 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren.
