With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leland John Rahjes (Smith Center, Kansas), who passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Frieda; his former wife Judy (Hein); his brother-in-law Jerome Hein; and his brother Leonard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Risa Jo (Steve) and Tonya Marie (Justin); his wife Linda; his children, Scott (Lisa) and Kelli (David); and his grandchildren, Trevor, Emily, Camden, Colsen, Trent, Taylor, Karsten and Liam.
Memorials are encouraged to be made to either Smith Center Health and Rehab or to the Smith County Memorial Hospital and can be sent in care of the mortuary.
