She was predeceased by: her parents, Wardie M. Hawkins and Lavina C. Hawkins (Carver); her husband Leland Baetz; her son Larry Duane; her siblings, Duane Hawkins and Melva Jean Hawkins; her son-in-law Milo Shellito; and her nephew Jerry Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Eugene (Karen) of Smith Center, Kevin Baetz (Kim) of Smith Center, Sharlyn Shellito of Smith Center and Judith Hyman (Wayne) of Smith Center; and her sisters-in-law, Maydeen Hawkins of Smith Center and Norma Schriner of Axtel, NE. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church and/or Kingsbury-Chase VFW Post 1141 Ladies Auxiliary, both of Smith Center, and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
