He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jean Thomsen; his children, Alyssa (Wyatt), Stacy (Brett), Stefanie and Sarah (Marcus); and his grandchildren, Tanner, Rece, Zachary, Mitchell, Nathan, Adelyn, Ellinor, Sam and Stone.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the New Covenant Church in Smith Center, Kansas in Doug's name and can be sent in care of the mortuary.
