We bid farewell to Don R. Wichers of Smith Center, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 20, 2024 at the age of 79. Don touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. D. "Doc" Wichers and Joyce A. Wichers (Bos); and his sister Doris (Larry Haas). He is survived by: his wife Judy (Miller); his children, Donna Carter (Jeff) of Bel Aire, KS, Deitra "Dee" Losey (Mark) of Agra, KS, Don of Chama, NM and Royce of Hays, KS; his stepchildren, Brad Schoen (Susan) of Manhattan, KS, Stacey Pasch (Ken) of Longmont, CO and Amy Atlee (Tom) of Broomfield, CO; and his sisters, Delores "Dee" VanderGeisen (Gene) of Rock Valley, IA and Vickie Collicott (Joe) of Cozad, NE. He is also survived by numerous grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
