Betty Jane Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jane (Smith Center, Kansas), who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Betty Jane to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Panter and Delilah Panter; her sons, Lee and Terry; her husband Arthur; her brothers, Duane (Pete) and Dee Panter; and also, Ed, Neva Smith, Ilene, Gerald Wagenblast, Millard Voorhees, Bennie (Lois) and Steven Panter.

She is survived by: her sons, Dail (Kathy) of Clay Center, KS, Stanley and Stan (Kim) of Smith Center, KS; her daughter-in-law Deb Smith of Smith Center; and her sister-in-law Roseanne Panter of Elkhart, KS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be given to the Athol Congregational Church and/or HELP Pets of Smith Center and/or Hospice Services of Smith County and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
