The memory of Audrey J. Atwood in Smith Center, Kansas, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Audrey departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Audrey. Though Audrey may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Triplitt and Nellie P. Triplitt (Kehl). She is survived by: her children, Larry Atwood (Barb) of Lincoln, NE, Marilyn Atwood of Omaha, NE, Bev Mansholt of Lebanon, KS, Susan Heard (Kevin) of Austin, MN, Rebecca Williams (Norm) of Papillion, NE and Patricia Sheley of Garden City, KS. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Faiths Funeral Chapel (113 S Madison St, Smith Center, KS 66967).

Memorials may be given to the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
