He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle McKinley and Eva Gertrude Sears (Hutson); his daughter Kathleen Dianne Sears Beavers; his granddaughter Ladonna Michelle Collins (Beavers); and his great grandchild Joseph Andrew Brown.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Wayne; his wife Betty Sears of Smith Center, KS; his children, Ken Sears (Debra) and Nancy Minnig (Sears); his grandchildren, Ashley Brown (Caleb), Marc Sears, Austin Sears and Sophie Minnig; his great grandchildren, Danielle Costa (Alex), Eric Collins, Adalyn Brown, Audrey Brown, Elizabeth Brown and Josiah Brown; and his great great grandchild Olivia Costa. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
