Philomena Peavler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philomena Peavler (Silver Lake, Kansas), born in Wamego, Kansas, who passed away on June 25, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Tauer and Zue Tauer (McCormick); and her daughter Barbara Rakestraw. She is survived by: her husband John Peavler; her grandchildren, Easter Egg Hunt and Thanksgiving; her daughters, Cheryl Workman (Frank) of Silver Lake, Cathy Miller (Brad) of Topeka and Carol Abbott (Herb) of Topeka; her brother Leo Tauer of Wamego; and her son-in-law Ken Rakestraw of Silver Lake. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren with one on the way; eight great-great-grandchildren and a loving extended family.
Memorial contributions can be made in Philomena's loving memory to Midland Hospice and/or Silver Lake Senior Center.
