With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethan Scott Kortan (Silver Lake, Kansas), born in Hays, Kansas, who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 23. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his uncle Travis Funk. He is survived by: his parents, Scott Kortan and Tania Kortan (Funk) of Silver Lake, KS.; his siblings, Mallory, Mariah, Ebram and Mabree; his grandparents, Terry, Wanda Kortan of Palco, KS, Wanda Funk of Sharon Springs, KS and Bryon Funk of Cape Fair, MO; and his aunts and uncles, Michelle Funk-Dowis (Jamie), Tracy Dinkel (Dennis), Camron Funk (Tera), Clayton Funk and Landon Funk.

In lieu of flowers an Ethan Kortan Memorial Fund has been established at Silver Lake Bank in Silver Lake, KS.
