We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Cletus Manhart (Silver Lake, Kansas), born in Grinnell, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Manhart and Ann Zimmerman Manhart; and his siblings, Ray, Robert (Doris), Joseph Manhart, Marcella Edgington (Floyd) and Mildred Manhart.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Reiter; his children, Steve Manhart of Birmingham, AL, Jerry Manhart (Karen), Shawnee, Karen Palmer (Dave) and Jason Manhart (Jamie); his sister Loretta Schwerdt (Ed); and his grandchildren, Abbie, Chad Manhart, Brandon, Easton, Trent, Jersey and Jax Manhart.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Church Building Fund or the Topeka Rescue Mission and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple Street, St. Marys, Kansas 66536.

“hi Louise. This is Joe hennes. When we last visited by McDonald's I certainly didn't anticipate reading about Cletus in the paper. I'm so sorry for your loss. I visited with my sister-in-law Kathy this morning who was in your and she had not heard about Cletus' death. She wanted so very much to send you a card but I did not have an address to give to her. So I'm sending this note just letting you know that both Kathy and I have thought about you and will keep you in our prayers.”
