It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene Marie Soares (Shawnee Mission, Kansas), born in Waipahu, Hawaii, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Felix Bagoyo Sr.; and her niece Kaitlin Bagoyo. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Michael J. Soares; her son Jared Soares (Katelyn Polantz) of Washington, DC; her mother Basilia Bagoyo; and her siblings, Felix Bagoyo Jr. (Corinne), Michael Bagoyo (Stephanie), Rodney Bagoyo, Denise Banua (Dino) and Francine Kekona. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
