He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Lohman Helton; his brother Ronald Helton; his niece Cathy Billings Walker; his mother Mary File Maupin; his children, Taylor Helton and Ashley Helstrong (Dave); his siblings, Charles Helton and Linda Helton Billings; his grandsons, Blake Helton and Lucas Helstrong; and his spouse Sally Waugh Helton.
