It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dallas Ivan Davis (Shawnee Mission, Kansas), who passed away on February 16, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurley Ivan and Florence Davis (Poli); and his brothers, Dick, Bobby and Donnie.
He is survived by: his wife Nona; his children, Dallas (Mylene) of Olsburg and Dawn Allen (John) of Alva, Okla.; his grandchildren, Amy Hawkins (Jason) of Gardner, Kans., Joshua Davis (Tabetha) of Paola, Kans., Dallas Davis Jr. of Lenexa, Kans., Patrick Allen (Audrey) of Purcell, Okla. and Barrett Allen of Purcell, Okla.; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Jake Hawkins, Samantha Morrill, Jordan, Aidan, Keegan and Courtney Davis; his sisters, Betty Sulser (John) of Plano and Helen Irene Butler (Harry) of Tipton, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Patty Kozak of Lincoln, Neb., David Baker (Linda) of Lincoln, Neb. and Paul Baker of Lincoln, Neb.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The Davis home, much to the delight of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was lit from foundation to rooftop with multi-colored lights during the holiday. And there was always room for a few more strings each following year.
