She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Bradford Armstrong and Hazel Alvina Armstrong (Wilson); her husband Billy; her son Dallas Dean Whitney; and her brothers, Robert Armstrong, Ben Armstrong and Billie Armstrong.
She is survived by: her aunt Marvel; her daughters, Charity Horinek (Mark) of Sublette and Tiffany Ochs (Troy) of Emporia; her grandchildren, Lorrin Ochs (Caleb Strohm) of Burlingame, Cassidy Ochs of Emporia, Hope Horinek of Sublette, Hannah Horinek of Sublette, Noah Horinek of Sublette, Elizabeth Horinek of Sublette, Ainsley Horinek of Sublette and Trelawney Horinek of Sublette; her great grandchild Naomi Orth of Sublette; her siblings, Betty Yotter of Leoti, Donna Price of Tribune and Jim (Cindy Armstrong) of Ulysses; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Engel of Sharon Springs and Marilyn D. Armstrong of Wichita. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Wilma was deeply touched when she was awarded the Lifetime of Service Award in 2017 by the Wallace County Foundation.
