He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Scott and Erma Scott (Walters); his brothers, Roland Jr. and Roy; his daughter Lisa Scott; and his children-in-law, Trish Davies and Joe Korbe.
He is survived by: his wife Berna Scott (Cox); his children, Virgil Jr. (Diane) of Broomfield, CO and Paula Korbe; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Stroud (Brad), Travis Korbe of Wallace, KS, Christopher Korbe (Sarah), Andrew Korbe (Hailey), Caiti Korbe of Garden City, KS and Nicole Scott of Broomfield, CO. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
