We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2020, at the age of 76, Jimmy Baehler Sr. of Sharon Springs, Kansas, born in Goodland, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Valgene Sr. and Irene Maie Baehler (Whitney); his siblings, Raymond Jr. (Sonny), Richard and Bonnie Fuentez; his granddaughter Jade Elaine Taylor; his son-in-law Dale Taylor; his brothers-in-law, Don Kyner, Ben Finley, Oscar Fuentez and Gary Searle, Sr.; and his nieces and nephews, Ashlyn Wiley, Christina Bourland (Fuentez), Christopher Kyner and Christopher Schmid.
He is survived by: his daughter Jean Michelle (Sharon Springs); his wife Melba; his children, Jamie Siebert (Sharon Springs), Jody Baehler and Jimmy Jr. (Sharon Springs); his grandchildren, Tessa Rohrberg (Travis), Tadd Taylor (Shayna), Alex Howard (Chelsie), Tori Pettigrew (Mike), Triston Swart, Oakley, Shelby, Jimmy III, Sharon Springs, Desiree Sharp, Jordan Sharp (Kendra), Colby, Dana Robl (Chris), Ashley McCurdy (Judd) and Darci Wilson (Mike); his great grandchildren, Ezra, Owen Rohrberg, Jaelynn, Olivia Taylor, Avery, Nova Godec, Landri, Lakyn, Londyn Howard, Shade, Lev Sharp, Landon, Caleb, Conner, Ethan, Isaiah, Jacob, Elijah, Israel Robl, Macy McCurdy, Lincoln and Titus Wilson; his siblings, Ada Kyner, Alice Finley, Sharon Springs, Peggy Bagley, Osbourne and Johnny; and his sister-in-law Linda Baehler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Jimmy went to be with our Lord on December 16th, 2020, in Hays, Kansas, after fighting with the after effects of Covid 19.
He was honored with the Wallace County Foundation Main Street Award in 2012 for his recycling efforts.
