He was predeceased by: his parents, August Haug and Catherine Selbach Haug; his former wife Mary; his siblings, Edward, Anthony, Charles, August, Joseph, Barney, Monroe, John, Rose McCaffrey, Ida McQuaid, Anna Grothjan and Katherine Haug; and his grandson Joseph Haug.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Osterhaus Huninghake; his children, Lambert, Ernest Haug of Seneca, William Haug Jr. of Topeka, Florence Hulsing, Bernice Nordhus of Seneca and Patricia Stallbaumer of Seneca; his stepsons, Raymond Huninghake of Seneca and Leonard Huninghake of Baileyville; and his brother Fred Haug of Baileyville. He is also survived by 48 grandchildren and 88 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren and one step great-great- grandchildren.
