He is survived by: his wife Jacqualine Mathewson; his children, Amaryllis Mathewson (Tommy) of Antlers, Oklahoma, Lavonne Neilson of Hickory Creek, Texas, Garry Mathewson (Claudia) of Garland, Texas, Rick Mathewson (Marlene) of McKinney, Texas and Tina Freeman (Mark) of Mount Ida, Arkansas; and his siblings, Bill Mathewson (Sandra) of Manhattan, Kansas and Kay Fangman (Jack) of Topeka, Kansas.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
