She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Holthaus and Rose Olberding Holthaus; her husband Sylvester Strathman; her children, Jeralyn and Dale; and her siblings, George, Edwin, Leo and Sharon Holthaus.
She is survived by: her children, Don (Mary Doris) of Seneca, Jim (Jane) of Seneca, Ken (Tina) of Seneca, Dave (Marian) of Axtell, Sharon Schmelzle (Larry) of Oneida, Marilee Deters (Virgil) of Baileyville, Jeanita Lapa (Stan) of New York and Mary Jane Deters (Donald) of Axtell; and her daughter-in-law Verna of Topeka. She is also survived by 53 grandchildren, 160 Great-grandchildren and 43 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
