She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hermesch and Mary Hermesch (Wessel); and her siblings, Bernard, Frank, Edwin, Albert, Raymond, Lambert, Fred Jr., Kenneth, Lawrence, Anna Brokamp, Agnes Rempe, Mary Brucken, Rita Buser and Lucy Hermesch.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Zinke (Owen) of Seneca, Janet Kramer (Tom) of Seneca, Sharon Cordes (Morris) of Houston, TX, Brian Winkler (Barb) of Corning, Glenn Winkler (Kim) of Colwich, Elaine Ice (Dennis) of Meriden and Nancy Dalinghaus (Roger) of Laguna Beach, CA; and her sisters-in-law, Eunice Winkler of Seneca and Rosalyn Hermesch of Seneca. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lauer Funeral Home (212 S 4th St, Seneca, KS 66538). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (411 Pioneer St, Seneca, KS 66538).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Church or Nemaha Valley Community Hospital.
