He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Rilinger and Mary E. Fangman Rilinger; his wife Alice Ann; his sons, Dale Regis Rilinger and Eugene A. Rilinger; and his brothers, Melvin, Albert, Aloysius, George Jr., Edgar and Paul.
He is survived by: his former wife Alice A. Stallbaumer; his children, Gerald Rilinger of Sabetha, Donald Rilinger (Jennie) of Topeka, Glenn Rilinger of Roseville, CA, Kenny Rilinger (Clarice) of Lakin, KS, Ted Rilinger (Dalene) of Auburn, KS, Bobby Rilinger (Cindy) of Kansas City, MO, Nancy Reinecke (Elwin) of Berryton, KS, Linda Osterhaus (Glenn) of Seneca, Judy Hall (Lynn) of Smith Center, KS and Sue Rhoads (Ken) of Seneca; and his siblings, Emmett Rilinger of Parker, Colorado, Anna Marie Ruefer of Davenport and Charity of Leavenworth, Kansas. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and 16 step great-grandchildren.
