He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene F. Winkler and Philomena A. Winkler (Kongs); and his siblings, Linus Eugene Winkler, Albert Leo Winkler and Eleanor Agnes Hermesch.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Marie Winkler of Seneca; his children, Donna Zinke (Owen) of Seneca, Janet Kramer (Tom) of Seneca, Sharon Cordes (Morris) of Houston, TX, Brian Winkler (Barb) of Seneca, Glenn Winkler (Kim) of Colwich, KS, Elaine Ice (Dennis) of Meriden, KS and Nancy Dalinghaus (Roger) of Mission Hills, KS; and his brother Leroy Winkler of Seneca. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, sent in care of Popkess Memorial Chapel, 814 Castle, Seneca, KS 66538.
