He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Heiman and Josephine Buessing Heiman; his daughter Kristin Daugherty; and his siblings, JoAnn Lierz, Henrietta Quaney and Frank Heiman Jr..

He is survived by: his sisters, Loyola Sudbeck of Seneca, Carol Lohmann of Seneca, Rose Mary McKay of Kansas City, Grace Rottinghaus of Lee Summit and Ellen Westerhaus of Junction City; and his stepchildren, David Shumaker of Wetmore, Janelle Walters of Wamego and Stacey Bever of Franklin, Tennessee..

There will be no visitation/rosary due to COVID.

Memorials may be given for Nemaha County Training Center.
