He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Haverkamp and Theresa Haverkamp (Olberding); his wife Diane Niekamp of Mary's Church; his granddaughter Jessica Koelzer; and his siblings, Kenneth, Angela Devillier, Cecilia Kohake and Luella Curti.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Koelzer (Dennis), Ron Haverkamp, Denise Wolsleben (Tim) of Table Rock, NE, Ryan Haverkamp (Judy) and Celene Holthaus (Martin); his sister Henrietta Dressman; his grandchildren, Julia, Derek, Jacob, Brady, Garrett, Hank and Clay; and his great grandchildren, Waylon, Lyle and Ruth.
Memorials can be given in John's name to the St. Mary's Church renovation and sent in care of the family.
