He was predeceased by: his mother Loretta Steinlage (Wessel); and his brother Leander. He is survived by: his father Henry Steinlage; his wife Mary Beth of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Debra Niehues (Keith) of Sabetha, Christina Kreimer (Josh) of Eudora, Renee Mueting (Doug) of Eudora, Timothy Steinlage of Cushing, OK, Jonathan Steinlage (Lauren) of Abilene, Catherine Becker (Matt) of Centralia, Rodney Steinlage (Ashley) of Frankfort and Matthew Steinlage (Katie) of Grain Valley, MO.; his sisters, Theresa Mulryan of Topeka, KS, Joann Dawdy (Gary) of Topeka, KS, Rosemary Spangler (Jerry) of Topeka, KS and Mary Kay Hermesch (Steve) of Goff, KS; and his sister-in-law Carol Steinlage of Centralia, KS.. He is also survived by grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (411 Pioneer St, Seneca, KS 66538). A rosary was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
