She was predeceased by: her parent Iva May McHenry (Knight); her husband Alva Meade, Sr.; and her stepchildren, Everett, Ronnie and Lucille.
She is survived by: her children, Craig, Alva, Jr. (Judy), Robert (Terri), Katherine Kling (Charles) and Edward; and her stepdaughter Ada Kelly. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
