The lying in state was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Popkess Memorial Chapel (814 Castle St, Seneca, KS 66538). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Corning Trinity United Methodist Church (6419 Pacific St, Corning, KS 66417).
In lieu of flowers, Galen kindly requested that memorial contributions be made to the Galen Steinlage Memorial Fund with proceeds designated for those individuals in the community battling cancer, sent in care of the Popkess Memorial Chapel, 814 Castle Street, Seneca, Kansas 66538.
