He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorena Shockey, Sr. (Rawlings) and Fred Shockey, Sr.; his sisters, Louise Kaster, Darlene McAuliffe and Maxine Clemmer; and his children-in-law, Clarence Tryon and Felicia Shockey.
He is survived by: his wife Betty of Seneca; his children, Irene Koelzer (Jerry) of Corning, Sandra Tryon of Baileyville and Fred Shockey III (Janel) of Shawnee; and his siblings, Freda Galor of Holton, Kansas, Lyle Shockey of Seneca, Bill Shockey of Soldier, Garry Shockey of Kansas City and Terry Shockey of Holton, Kansas. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren; his 25 great-grandchildren; and his 19 great-great-grandchildren.
