It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen A. Duryea of Seneca, Kansas, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Wessel and Elizabeth Wessel (Osterhaus); her husband Ted; and her siblings, Hilda Bergman, Lucille Tanking, Helen Hermesch, Alma Dwerlkotte, Ed, Henry, Albert, Vincent, Benedict, Lawrence, Clarence and Norbert.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Duryea (Sharon) of Topeka, Donald Duryea (Beth) of Solomon, Dennis Duryea (Joyce) of Topeka, Greg Duryea (Lesa) of Morrill, Merle Duryea (Rose Mary) of Seneca, Marilyn Koch (Eldon) of St. Joseph, Debra Meyer (Gary) of Sabetha and Kay Lynne Gabb (Marvin) of Spring Hill, Kansas. She is also survived by 49 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
